The Executive Board of the “Associazione Nazionale Volontarie del Telefono Rosa – Onlus” is composed of:
Maria Gabriella Carnieri Moscatelli

Maria Gabriella Carnieri Moscatelli

President, Legal Representative and founding partner

She represents the Association in the Italian and European government institutions, carrying out for them a continuous awareness raising activity on gender equality and violence against women.

Through the years she has been coordinating various training activities in the schools of Rome and in Lazio region, focused on the prevention of violence and aggressive behaviours.

Coordinator of all the projects of the Association, she launched some training courses addressed to Social and Health Professionals and to the Law Enforcement. These cathegories in fact, during the exercise of their duties, take care of women in difficulty or women who are victims of violence.

Furthermore, she supervised the opening of the anti-violence help-desks in “Tor Vergata” and “Casilino” General Hospitals of Rome.

Barrister of the Supreme Court, Vice President.

Barrister of the Supreme Court, she became a volunteer of Telefono Rosa in 2003, of which she is today Vice President.

Expert in the civil and criminal field, she offers assistance to women victims of violence in drafting the statements of complaint, and she appears for the defense in felonies against the family, as well as gender violence crimes.

Furthermore, she gives young people civil and criminal assistance, at the Juvenile Court.

She worked for “Istituto Bancario San Paolo di Torino S.p.a.” until 2007.

In 2010 she joined “Associazione Volontarie del Telefono Rosa- Onlus”, where she offers support and telephone reception to the women who contact the Association.

Since 2011 she has been in charge of the free legal aid on behalf of Telefono Rosa.

In the past years she has also participated in many initiatives as a volunteer.

  • In 2013 she was OLP (Local Project Operator) for the Civil Service;
  • From 2013 to 2015 she was responsible for the Food Bank supplies of the Shelter Houses run by Telefono Rosa, becoming in 2016 the coordinator of the initative. Dal 2016 è diventata la coordinatrice della raccolta annuale.

Since 1995 she has been working as a volunteer for the National Association of Telefono Rosa. From 2003 to 2006 and from 2015 up until today she has been a member of the Executive Board.

Since 2001 she’s been the family law assistant for the Association, and in 2004 she joined the Telefono Rosa’s help-desk in the Consulates of Argentina and Colombia, providing information on the safeguard of the rights of non-EU citizens.

In addition to the telephone reception, she provides information of possible free legal aid for these women who are being assisted by the Association’s lawyers.

Since 2005 she’s been collaborating with the Listening Center of the important organization of Caritas, in the Parish of “S. Maria Stella dell’Evangelizzazione”, for which, since 2016 she is the contact person for the monthly delivery of food and clothing packages of the warehouse.

    Civil Lawyer, expert in family law,

    She became a member of the Conciliation Chamber in 2006.

    She joined Telefono Rosa in 1990, where she has been offering assistance and legal counselling to the women victims of violence who have confided in the Association.

    Member of the Executive Board from 2005 to 2014 and from 2016 until today.

    She participated in the creation of the manual of Telefono Rosa called “Disco Rosso alla violenza”, a guide detailing self-defense techniques against all kinds of violence: at home, at work, in the street and on the internet.

      Executive secretary, she was correspondent until 2005 with the international companies “Copton”, “PPG Industries” and “Arthur Andersen”, in their European branches in Rome.

      Entra a far parte dell’Associazione Nazionale Volontarie del Telefono Rosa dal 2008. Offre accoglienza telefonica e assistenza alle donne, che si rivolgono all’Associazione.

      Other than social commitment at Telefono Rosa, she’s also active in other social realities:

      From 1989 to 2007 she was one of the Hospital Assistants for the AMSO Association (Moral and Social Association for the cancer Patient).

      In 2012 she joined the T.C.I. Group “Aperti per Voi”, a cultural volunteering group for the roman branch of T.C.I.

        She was employee of the company “Aereoporti di Roma”, working for the HR department. She also carried out activities with the unions, concearning the safeguard of female labour.

        In 2007 she joined “Associazione Nazionale Volontarie del Telefono Rosa-Onlus”, where she offers telephone reception and assistance to the women who turn to the Association.

        In addition to the social commitment at Telefono Rosa, since 1982 she carries out volunteering activities for the Civil Protection and for the healthcare sector, at “Ordine di Malta – CISOM”. For more than 6 years now she has also been collaborating with Caritas.
